Company Update - Castle Cover Limited acquired by Ageas UK Limited
Castle Cover Limited (Castle Cover) has been acquired by Ageas UK Limited.
Ageas is a leading provider of award-winning personal, commercial and protection insurance solutions in the UK. Ageas distributes both its non-life and life products through a range of channels including brokers, IFAs, intermediaries, affinity partners and the internet, as well as through direct to consumer brands including RIAS.
Insuring in the region of 8 million customers and working with a range of partners, Ageas is recognised for delivering a consistent and high-quality customer experience, and employs over 4,500 people across the UK. Castle Cover will become a wholly owned subsidiary company of Ageas UK and the business will become part of Ageas UK’s Retail operations.
This acquisition does not impact Castle Cover or Regal customers in any way. Customers can continue with their same policy and insurance certificate, and if customers need to make a claim then they should do so in the normal way, using the contact telephone numbers detailed in their policy documents or on the website.
Castle Cover is an appointed representative of both RIAS plc and Lorica Consulting Limited which are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority.
